Our IoT devices require security risk management, and we implement vulnerability management throughout the entire product lifecycle. Users must perform regular updates to ensure effective security management, including the prevention of unauthorized operations and information leaks. Users are required to promptly install security updates provided by the company. Morita Electric shall not be held liable for any disadvantages—such as device failure, data loss, or malicious third-party use—resulting from a user’s failure to update within a reasonable period after notification.
Statement on Disposal and Personal Data
Our IoT products store network and personal information, including passwords and usage records. Before transferring, lending, or disposing of a device, users must perform a factory reset via the GUI, app, or physical buttons as instructed in the user manual. The company assumes no responsibility if such information is acquired or used by a third party due to the user’s failure to initialize the device. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this disclaimer covers all damages, including lost profits or business interruption, arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use the device.
